NAMALAND, Namibia: Geologische Übersichtskarte des Deutschen Namalandes [Geological map of the German Namaland].
The first detailed geological map of Namaland, in today’s Namibia, was published in a series of publications on geology of German colonies in 1912.

A detailed geological map on German language was published in 1912 in the series of the geological researches on the German colonies.
Great Namaland was an area north of the Orange River, in today’s Namibia, which was between 1884–1919 a German colony. The area south of the Orange river, was called Small Namaland and belonged to Great Britain.
The map was published in the series Beiträge zur geolog. Erforschug der Deutschen Schutzgebiete.
