A rare separately published map shows the historical region Upper Lusatia, between today's Germany and Poland.
The map was issued by the Nuremberg map printer David Funck (fl. 1680 -1705), who for a time employed Johann Baptist Homann (1663 – 1724) as a designer and engraver. Homann would of course go on to become Germany’s most important cartographic publisher.
