Highly decorative bird's eye view shows the summer resort Dubrovnik in Croatia in 1962, in the year the airport on the suburbs of the city opened.
Dubrovnik with its medieval fortress has been known as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the Mediterranean Sea. Until the airport opened it was accessible only by sea na unimpossible long journey by poor roads.
The legend at the bottom in five languages explains the 27 marked points on the map, including the hotels, villas, restaurans, and the way to the airport.
The map was made by an architect Olivera Bravacic and can be folded into thick paper wrappers.
