A rare book by a Prague born author Hermann Roskoschny describes his travels from Istanbul, through Anatolia, Cyprus, Syria, to Egypt and then with the ship back to Trieste.
Hermann Roskoschny (1845-1898) was born in Prague. During his studies he moved to Munich, between 1872-73 he was docent at the University in St. Petersburg. In the mid 1890s until his death in 1898 he owned a book shop and publishing house in Leipzig.
