This is a complete series of three issues of an irregularly published early Communist newspaper in Russian language, printed in Paris in 1910 and 1911. Each issue includes an article by Lenin, who was staying in Paris from 1910.

In June, days after the publication of the last number, the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party decided to move its seat back to Russia and close the Paris Based Bolshevik Centre and its newspapers.

The first two issues bear stamps of the Bund Archive. The Jewish Labour Bund was a secular Jewish socialist movement founded in the Russian Empire in 1897. Its organizational manifestation was the General Jewish Labour Bund in Lithuania, Poland and Russia. As the Bund initially opposed the October Revolution, itended up supporting it.
