An attractive pocket book on Leninism, written by Joseph Stalin and translatd to Slovenian language, with original woodcut in two colours on the cover and an indigo-coloured woodcut, showing Stalin’s portrait, was printed by an Slovenian clandestine press during WWII. The publisher was the Agitprop Comission of the Communist Party, which was at the time a part of a Yugoslavian Partisan group.
The book was printed in Primorsko, the coastal area of Slovenia, during WWII under German occupation. The wooden areas were widely controled by the Partisans after the capitulation of Italy in 1943.
The book is very rare and we could not trace any examples in libraries worldwide. In 1964 only 3 examples have been known in Yugoslavian ibraries.
