A decorative large bird’s-eye view of Leningrad was made around 1930 to introduce new achievements of the city to tourists.

Technique: Lithography in colour, folded in original tan wrappers with printed title (soft folds, middle fold scratched with a small loss of image, otherwise in a good condition) 41,5 x 70 cm (16.3 x 27.6 inches) .
A decorative bird’s eye view of Leningrad, made around 1930 for English speaking tourists, marks 83 most important buildings in the city, including the Buddhist Temple (Datsan Gunzechoinei) which was closed in 1933, and new buildings, such as the House of Political Convicts and First Five Year Plan House of Culture.
